Hi! My name is Dreyfus and I was lonesome.....Mom's great but....she's not a Golden...she's a veg-UH-tarian...and is really ticked off that someone bought me a cow to chew on for Christmas....it's the only cow I get....the vegetables are better for my waistline she says....and my KUH-les-ter-all.....whatever that is. This is my website, originally I built this as a way to introduce myself to my new Aunt Janet, I refer to her as new because I already have ONE Aunt Janet and if I call her Old Aunt Janet she won't let me come visit Sarasota anymore! New Aunt Janet found Baxter for us!
This is where we live...it's yellow...the grass out front doesn't have any bare spots so Mom lets us roll here after a bath....I'm not sure what she has against mud but WHATEVER!!
This is me again with my cow....I put another picture up to really tick her off!
This is my backyard...it's got a pool! There's a ghost dog in the pool too, every time I go look down...there he is. He's a handsome devil too...sometimes though I get too excited trying to play with him and I fall in....I don't like swimming in pools, I like the lake or the ocean...even though Mom got a saltwater pool because she didn't want me in all those chemicals...I still don't go in voluntarily over my ankles. Mom has the yard fenced from the very front of the house all the way around to keep me safe and give me room to sniff...she's got a lot of plants and I like to get in there because that's where all the lizards are...they're fun to chase. Plus there's two other dogs who live behind the fence, Belle used to bark at them all the time but I don't mind em, they're okay.

These are what Mom calls Dog Beds...we are supposed to sleep on them...they are foam cushions with more foam chunks and are about a foot high...we don't like them....we much prefer the king sized bed in the bedroom and sometimes we let Mom stretch out on her side...sometimes! ;-)
Note that Mom has TWO couches...one for each of us. Now that Belle is gone I get the leather couch...Mom says she buys furniture that matches me...hmmph what she doesn't know is that I'm part chameleon and can change my color to match the couch so that she doesn't see me on it...SEE!
Here's some new pics of us on the couch...we're not supposed to be up there but Mom just shakes her head and grabs the camera when she sees us up there now. We got busted big time last night cuz she came home from the movies and we didn't hear her so we were still on the couch and got caught redhanded. I think we've converted her though...she doesn't even fuss when we get up there when she has company and THEY are on the couch. I got to snuggle with them the other night, it was fun. Baxter got up on the chair today while she was working and fell asleep, she just laughed when she saw him and grabbed her camera. You can check that picture out on HIS page.
I tried to take a picture of the bedroom but it's all torn up because it's laundry day and Mom wouldn't let me take a picture of my REAL bed....it's a King Size.....Belle and I used to sleep sideways on it and Mom only got a little sliver of it...She says it makes her neck stiff when we'd pin her in and she couldn't move...Belle went somewhere called The Bridge to live with Grandma, Grandpa, Dusty and Prince. I miss her but Mom and new Aunt Janet got together and got me a new pal. His name is Baxter and BOY IS HE FAT! He makes me look skinny! Course I've lost a half pound on the latest trendy diet for dogs that has a lot of green beans in it. Mom says I can't have any more onions or frozen grapes though, that sucks!
So anyway, that's me. I'd send some pictures of the lake but it's not walk time yet and Mom wanted to get these out right away....She's having computer issues today and that makes her cranky. A walk will do her good.
Aunt Janet, thanks for telling Mom about the green beans, they're yummy. But I have to tell you Baxter doesn't get dessert because he doesn't finish his dinner EVER!! Not sure how he got to be such a TUBBO when he hardly eats but...hey Mom's the physiologist not me. All I know is that I'm getting a lot more walks in 2005 because we have to slim down a certain someone! Weigh-ins every other Saturday until Lard Butt loses at least 24 lbs. Mom said that was a good place to aim for and then we'd recalculate. By my calculations though we're going to get to go for car rides on Saturday for quite awhile because MOOSE won't walk fast, he has to stop every couple steps and smell stuff.
